A view of the former LNER Thompson B1 Harry Hinchliffe looking rather neglected at Wakefield Shed in the 1960's.

The two schoolboys are unconcerned with the loco's condition, they just want to avoid the shed foreman.

Based on a photo taken by Bill Wright in the sixties. My sincere thanks go to Bill, who gave me permission to use any of his photos for my artwork.

This painting was exhibited at the Guild of Railway Artist's 'Railart Exhibition 2014' held at Kidderminster Railway

Prints are available for this painting
